His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, patronized the annual ceremony of the Charitable Association for Computer Rehabilitation “Ertiqa ,” held on Wednesday at the Emirate’s Diwan. During the ceremony, His Highness reviewed the association’s achievements over the past year and endorsed the signing of several partnership agreements.

His Royal Highness commended the professional services provided by Ertiqa , noting their role in promoting environmental sustainability and supporting the educational and non-profit sectors through the provision of electronic devices. These efforts align with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s progress in technological advancement, the development of a robust digital infrastructure, the enhancement of quality of life, and the national agenda for digital transformation and sustainability.

Chairman of the Board Mr. Abdullah bin Abdulatif Al-Fozan stated that since its inception, Ertiqa has focused on raising community awareness and embedding the concept of “Digital Stewardship.” He highlighted that the association has received more than 74,000 electronic devices and distributed over 53,000 devices. These achievements were further recognized by the association’s receipt of the 2025 Sustainability Initiative Award, in addition to obtaining ISO certification, reflecting its commitment to international best practices and the delivery of sustainable social and environmental impact.

During the ceremony, His Royal Highness endorsed the signing of several strategic partnerships between the association and a number of public and private sector entities, including Saudi Aramco, Tasheel Finance, Munirah bint Abdulrahman Al-Subaihan Charitable Foundation.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Royal Highness honored Ertiqa strategic partners and donor organizations in recognition of their significant contributions to supporting the association’s mission and the successful implementation of its initiatives.
