The Governor of the Eastern Province inaugurates Abdul Latif Al-Fozan Street in Al-Khobar
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, inaugurated on Sunday evening Abdul Latif Al-Fozan Street in Al-Khobar Governorate, in the presence of His Excellency the Mayor of the Eastern Province, Eng. Fahd bin Mohammed Al-Jubeir, Mr. Abdul Latif Al-Fozan, Mr. Abdullah Al-Fozan (Chairman of the Board of Al-Fawzan Social Foundation
The Governor of the Eastern Province emphasized that partnership between the public and private sectors represents a fundamental pillar in supporting the development process. It reflects the integration of roles and the unification of efforts in a way that contributes to improving quality of life. He noted that initiatives based on cooperation and joint work embody the spirit of social responsibility and contribute to building integrated urban environments that meet residents’ needs and enhance the sustainability of cities.
The Mayor of the Eastern Province, Eng. Fahd bin Mohammed Al-Jubeir, expressed his appreciation for the support and patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef in inaugurating Abdul Latif Al-Fozan Street in Al-Khobar. He affirmed that this reflects the Governor’s interest in development projects and enhancing quality of life in the region’s cities. He added that the project represents a model of effective partnership between the public and private sectors, and he expressed his thanks to the Abdul Latif Al-Fozan Group for this initiative, which contributes to community programs and improves the visual landscape of Al-Khobar, praising the quality of execution and efficiency demonstrated.
Mr. Abdullah Al-Fozan extended his thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership for supporting city humanization projects and improving quality of life, affirming continued work on development initiatives that meet community needs and keep pace with development plans.
He added that the project comes the Al-Fozan Community Service Program and aims to improve the urban landscape and enhance quality of life. The street extends 3.4 kilometers and provides a safe, integrated urban environment that supports a healthy lifestyle. It features harmoniously distributed green spaces exceeding 22,000 square meters, with more than 96,205 trees and plants, in addition to bicycle and jogging tracks totaling 5.7 kilometers, as well as public open areas, sports play zones, and shaded seating areas carefully designed to provide comfort and enjoyment for all.
