Digital Transformation Forum Launches to Exchange Expertise and Foster Innovation
Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, inaugurated the Digital Transformation Forum for the Nonprofit Sector today. Organized by Ertiqa Association in collaboration with the Council of Charitable Associations and with strategic partnerships with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the National Center for Nonprofit Sector Development, the event saw broad participation from public, private, and nonprofit sector leaders, experts, and specialists.
The Deputy Governor toured the forum’s accompanying exhibition, which features 31 display areas with individual and joint showcases from various organizations presenting their digital efforts and achievements. The exhibition also includes multiple forum-related events.
Abdullah Al-Fozan, Chairman of the Ertiqa Association, expressed gratitude to Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz for his sponsorship and support, as well as to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, all partners, and contributors to the forum’s success. He emphasized Ertiqa’s commitment to advancing digital transformation and fostering technological innovation to place the nonprofit sector among leading industries. Through knowledge exchange, experience-sharing, and fostering innovation, Ertiqa aims to provide solutions that drive digital transformation.
Abdullah Al-Khalidi, Chairman of the Council of Charitable Associations in the Eastern Province, welcomed the event’s patron and praised the strong backing and empowerment the nonprofit sector receives from national leadership, especially in digital transformation. He highlighted the forum’s significance in shaping the future of the nonprofit sector, broadening its developmental roles, and thanked partners, supporters, speakers, and attendees for their contributions.
The forum agenda included five main activities designed to meet its objectives, featuring a specialized roundtable on collaboration opportunities with transformation institutions, a hands-on experience lab for sharing success stories, workshops, discussion panels, advisory sessions, and a digital hackathon.
During the ceremony, the Deputy Governor honored strategic partners, including the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the National Center for Nonprofit Sector Development, gold sponsors Sipchem and Al-Dhawyan Charitable Foundation, silver sponsor Extra, and gold sponsor Al Zamil Group.
