Mujassam Watan lunches 'Designathon' to Foster innovation
In a continued effort to promote a culture of innovative iconic sculptures and unique aesthetic landmarks while attracting promising creative talents, Mujassam Watan has launched the "Designathon" event. This groundbreaking design marathon marks the first of its kind in the Kingdom, aimed at creating landmarks in public spaces across three cities: Al-Khobar, Riyadh, and Jeddah. The event will span two days in each city, incorporating brainstorming sessions, advisory consultations, and artistic social discussions.
Participating projects from the three stations will compete for a coveted prize worth 20,000 Saudi riyals, which will be awarded to the winning project. The tour kicked off on July 10 in Al-Khobar at the Sultan bin Abdulaziz Science and Technology Center "Scitech." Following the conclusion of the first station, the competition team will engage with new creators in Jeddah and Riyadh, ultimately unveiling the recipient of the Designathon prize.
