Minister of Health Sponsors Framework Agreement between Hail Health Cluster and Ascend, Inaugurates Management and Control Center for Province’s Healthcare System
The Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah sponsored the signing of a strategic framework partnership between the Hail Health Cluster and Ascend to develop the infrastructure of the cluster’s healthcare performance system.
This follows the minister’s inauguration of the Management and Control Center for the cluster’s healthcare system in the province.
He also opened the first phase of the system responsible for linking the National Center for Control and Development, developing analysis platforms, and integrating and modeling operational performance indicators for hospitals, primary care centers, and e-health applications developed by the Ministry of Health. This is in addition to health information systems for hospitals and primary care centers, the Mawid, E-Prescription, and Referral applications, and data for the 937-contact center.
Al Rabiah toured the headquarters of the Hail Health Cluster and attended a presentation of the performance indicators in the Management and Control Center.
He also listened to a brief explanation from the Director of the Model of Care Program in the cluster Dr. Manal Al Adaili, the Director of the Heath Performance Project in Hail Majid Al Tafihi
, and the center’s team about the performance indicators derived from the integrated healthcare model.
The Management and Control Center in the Hail Health Cluster is of strategic importance for the transformation of healthcare based on the integrated healthcare model and the directives of model healthcare institutions in Hail.
The center works as an integrated platform for management, control, and decision-making support, and it contributes to the continual development and improvement of performance as well as the integration of infrastructure and linkage of operating, management, and governance systems. It also collects and analyzes data, develops primary healthcare and public health programs, supports operational efficiency as well as the management of resources, facilities, and equipment, and promotes quality and spending efficiency.
