Under the Slogan of "By Your Hands" Al Fozan Social Foundation announced the launch of the fourth cycle of Mujassam Watan Competition in cooperation with the Quality of Life Program.

The Secretary-General of the Mujassam Watan Competition, Dr. Mashary Al-Naim, indicated that the fourth cycle represents an extension of the creative aspects demonstrated by Saudi artists and designers in previous seasons, which presented distinctive and highly competitive works in terms of design and aesthetic touches that enriched the competition and enhanced its value as an initiative aimed at adding aesthetic features to the Saudi cities and improving the quality of life therein.

Al-Naim called on designers and artists to participate in enriching the historical heritage of our national culture.

For his part, Eng. Ahmed bin Hassan Badris, CEO of the Quality of Life Program, stated saying that the competition aims to be a model for activating partnerships with the private sector in the framework of social responsibility, and to enable the private sector to contribute and take the initiative to invest in various areas of quality of life, including urban design and beautification of the cities, as well as enable young men and women to invest their abilities and creativity to reflect the Kingdom’s history and the values of national belonging through the monuments that are implemented in the public squares.

The competition's general secretariat indicated that there are four new sites distributed over several regions that will be announced later, and stated that entries in the fourth cycle will be received through application on the official website https://mwaward.com/ starting from 4/2/2022.

It is worth noting that Mujassam Watan is a national competition launched in 2018 by Al Fozan Social Foundation, with the aim to shed more light on the talents of youth by giving them the opportunity to compete in designing creative, symbolic, and artistic landmarks that express national unity and the history of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The winning designs are built in one of the Kingdom’s public areas or squares and inaugurated on the Saudi National Day every year.
