Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province Reviews Key Services at the Abdul Latif Al Fozan Autism Center (Afac)
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province, visited today (Tuesday) the Abdul Latif Al Fozan Autism Center (Afac). During the visit, His Highness was briefed on the center’s specialized programs and high quality services provided for individuals with autism spectrum disorder, as well as the supportive educational and rehabilitation environment that helps develop their skills and promote their inclusion in society.
His Royal Highness praised the pioneering efforts made by the center in serving this cherished group, noting that the programs it offers help alleviate the challenges faced by individuals with autism and contribute to their rehabilitation.
Sheikh Abdul Latif Al Fozan, the founder of the center, explained that it is the largest of its kind in the Middle East and is distinguished by providing comprehensive services based on best practices and international standards. The center has also received accreditation from the British National Autistic Society (NAS) and has successfully graduated four cohorts of students an achievement that reflects the quality of its performance and the competence of its staff
