Ajdan Real Estate Development Company signed a cooperation agreement with the world-leading augmented hospitality group Accor to develop and operate the first Fairmont hotel in the Eastern Province as part of the Ajdan Waterfront in Al Khobar.

With an opening date expected for 2023, the hotel will feature 160 rooms and serviced apartments, dining outlets, and meeting rooms to accommodate large social and corporate events.

Strategically located on the waterfront in the heart of Al Khobar’s centre, the property will be part of the Ajdan Waterfront mixed-use development, featuring retail, commercial, residential, and entertainment components. Moreover, the hotel will be close to the Saudi Aramco Headquarter, the King Abdulaziz Cultural Centre, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, and various malls and attractions in the city. In addition, and most importantly, is its vicinity to the King Fahd Causeway, which connects thousands of passengers from Al Khobar to Bahrain.
