Afac Shares a Success Story and Creates Impact at the International Autism Conference 2025
Afac – Abdul Latif Al-Fozan Center for Autism participated in the second edition of the International Autism Conference and Exhibition 2025, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, with the participation of leading experts and specialists from more than 30 countries around the world. The event took place from November 17–19 at Dhahran Expo under the theme: Empowering Life Through Knowledge and Inclusion. Afac’s participation reflects its pioneering efforts in empowering and supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and in strengthening the integration between the educational and community services provided to them. The center showcased its specialized services and programs and introduced visitors to its latest initiatives designed to support individuals with ASD and their families. The center also presented its inclusion experience through a workshop titled: “Best Practices in Integrating Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Education and the Community” delivered by Mr. Khaldoun Khalid Al-Mubayyad. The workshop covered the latest evidence-based strategies to enhance the inclusion process, develop supportive educational and community environments, and highlighted effective pedagogical and educational methods that
consider individual differences among students, in addition to the essential role of families in supporting the inclusion journey. Afac’s participation in this significant international event reaffirms its commitment to raising awareness, exchanging expertise, and building impactful partnerships that contribute to improving the quality of life for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and empowering them to integrate and actively participate in their communities.
