Building of a symbiotic community
As part of its commitment to promoting compassion, the Al Fozan Social Foundation program established the Saudi Food Bank in collaboration with several private sector entities. The "Etaam" association was launched with the objective of preventing food surplus from going to waste, raising awareness about food waste, distributing it to those in need, and ensuring it meets the highest quality and safety standards to minimize significant waste operations. This initiative serves as a model of community cooperation, aiming to create new job opportunities and foster a culture of volunteerism among different segments of society. "Etaam" also implements various specialized community initiatives in the realm of food assistance, providing safe and sustainable food for individuals facing unique social circumstances and those with low incomes.
